XmodSpeed is not around anymore but someone bought their stock and has been selling these for a while now.

I would put this motor in a class with the PN S03 or FATBoy HC. It spins similar rpm numbers and tops out at 33 mph during my speed test. For $14 on eBay it is well worth a look. The Neo mags and BB can are almost worth the 14 bucks. In my basement it showed signs of a good large track motor with decent acceleration and decent torque on my new Industrial carpet which held it back a bit. Any day now they will be done with street repairs in front of my house so more info to come.

Anyone can build a super hot super fast motor that you need to adjust your Fet setup to use. A real challenge is building a motor that is fast and will run on Gen Fets. I have owned a lot of motors and many have claimed to be the Fastest stock Fet motors. So far the speedy BB and the Torque-tuned with carbon brushes added to me have been my fastest stock motors. Now we have a new competitor. At 42k rpm it seems to have what it takes. That is only 3000 less than the Torque-tuned. What this motor has more of than the other 2 is torque. The PN and TT are not lacking torque but they do not have the torque this motor has. The Neo Mags make a difference and probably account for the loss in rpm. This motor on the speed checker topped out @ 25 mph which is not the fastest number i have but i will get it on the street side by side with my best Torque-tuned to prove "RPM sells motors...Torque wins Races.

Well Torque does win races but in this case the Tamiya Torque Tuned with carbon brushes added had enough torque to win. I guess the Torque tuned is more powerful than I though. All in all this is still a great motor with a lot of power and should be used for track racing.

This is an extreme motor! I have owned quite a few fast motors... The EVO Rocket and The Plasmatomic to name a few, but I only have 2 Extreme motors. This is the second one. How does it compare to the King AKA Light speed Pro Edition. Well on the speed checker it was 1 kph slower than the LSPro. I ran my LSPro and it hit 82 kph... This beast hit 81 kph. This test was done with Lithium ions with a V2.2 board. I am setting up a EVO Poly car for round 2. Stay tuned!
