I went for a quick 2 hour walk recently after a lot of rain within the kanata Lakes area and thought I would share some photos of the trail features just to highlight some of the more technical areas, be warned that these are far from the most technical trails I hope to have more photos from these areas added soon. I wandered a bit off the conservation area for some of these photos and I'm not sure if the trails I followed have a name but they look like lots of fun to ride, hopefully I'll get some photos of the 'Ridgetop' area during my next outing.
F.B.I.T. and Ridgetop Trails
I went for a 3.5 hour walk and managed to cross the Beaver pond bridge but my feet were a little water logged, it's easier to get across on your bike than on foot as a section of the bridge it partly under water. These trails especially Ridgetop are Hard and Technical trails as you'll soon see by the photos but they offer some outstanding views and very interesting terrain.
